Surfing Heritage and Culture Center (SHACC) is stoked to host an evening with author, and Surfing Magazine founder, Dick Graham on Thursday, September 1st from 6-9 PM. Dick will be signing copies of his new book, “The Ride,” and taking part in a Q&A session with attendees.
“The Ride”: 1960s & 1970s: A Photo Essay is an 8.5”x11” hard cover coffee table book that captures —in words and photographs —the art of wave riding during this evolutionary time in surfing’s history. Copies of the book will be on sale for $45.00. If you can’t attend the book signing, you may order a signed copy by calling SHACC at (949) 388-0313 ext. 0
After he sold Surfing Magazine, Graham went on to establish Sports Market Promotions, a pioneering media firm that produced and promoted extreme sports events for television programming, sponsorships and product licensing opportunities.
