Murray Huneke Joins ROTH Capital Partners

ROTH Capital Partners,, a full service investment bank focused on serving emerging growth companies and their investors, announced that Murray Huneke has joined the firm as Managing Director and Co-Head of Consumer Investment Banking. Mr. Huneke, who will be based in the firm’s San Francisco office, will partner with Paul Zaffaroni, who is based in Newport Beach, to lead the Consumer Investment Banking Group.

“Murray is an experienced consumer banker, and we are excited to have him join our Team. We continue to take advantage of opportunities for growth by adding professionals in sectors which we believe are aligned with our small cap growth focus,” stated Byron Roth, CEO of ROTH Capital Partners.

Most recently, Mr. Huneke was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Consumer Investment Banking at Stifel, where he was also a member of the firm's M&A Commitment Committee. Prior to joining Stifel, he was a Managing Director and Co-Head of Piper Jaffray’s Consumer Group for ten years, and prior to that was responsible for the Restaurant, Food and Beverage teams within the Consumer Group at Banc of America Securities/ Montgomery Securities. Mr. Huneke began his investment banking career at Alex. Brown & Sons, Inc. in the Consumer Group. He graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and received his MBA from Harvard Business School.
