DC SVP of Apparel resigns

In the wake of the layoffs at Quiksilver and DC Shoes, a top DC executive has resigned.

Vicki Redding, senior vice president of DC apparel, has left the company over a difference of opinion after working for Quiksilver for nearly two decades.

Last week Quiksilver cut 125 jobs at Quiksilver headquarters in Huntington Beach, DC Shoes and the company distribution center in Mira Loma. The company is moving toward more shared responsibility between its brands in the marketing, design and merchandising, production and sales functions.
