Zumiez reports strong Q4, profit jumps

Q4 results

Sales: up 5.6% to $132.4 million

Same store sales: down 1.7% vs. a drop of 13.4% the same period last year.

Net income: up 39% to $8.8 million, including charges

Fiscal 2009 results

Sales: down 0.3% to $407.6 million

Same store sales: down 10% vs. a 6.5% drop in 2008

Net income: down 47% to $9.1 million, including several charges

Cash and securities: $108.1 million
