Skullcandy presents Doubles Up Ping Pong Invitational

There's something about Friday the 13th that seems to promote wild times. This was certainly the case at least this past Friday, July 13th, when Skullcandy held its "Doubles Up" Ping Pong Invitational at the Transworld Skate Park in Carlsbad, CA.

32 Teams competed in a Single-Elimination Bracket Ping Pong showdown for a grand prize $2,500 cash, a custom Trophy, Skullcandy Supreme Sound Headphones and accessories, Stance Socks and most importantly bragging rights.

The heavy hitter guest list, which included over 200 guests, brought industry and sports notables to the ping pong tables. Guests like Robbie Maddison (Skullcandy Moto Team), Theotis Beasley (Skullcandy Skate Team), Ramses Barden (Wide Receiver for the NY Giants) competed with Cheyne and Tony Magnusson along with Skullcandy Snowboard Team Members: Kimmy Fasani, Eero Ettala, Stevie Bell, Aaron Biitner, Bode Merrill and Matt Ladley and more for the title.

At the end brothers Cheyne and Tony Magnusson took the trophy and bragging rights and celebrated with some heavy-handed shots of Peligroso tequila.
