Hurley unveils new wholesale distribution strategy

Hurley executives told me yesterday that going forward, the brand will aggressively focus its wholesale distribution on retailers that tell the Hurley story in the most compelling way. As a result and after a detailed strategic review, Hurley will pull out of approximately 400 accounts in its current distribution network as of Jan. 1, according to Hurley Chairman Bob Hurley and CEO Roger Wyett. One of the retailers it will stop selling is one of the most influential in the industry.
