STI Launches Website Showing How STI Fusion Technology is Better
LAKE FOREST, CA (May 3, 2011) – FU is short for Fusion, and today STI, the world’s first and only action sports biomechanics research organization, launched the official website for its STI Fusion patent-pending technology that is revolutionizing the way skateboard shoes are made.
The brand new site, STIFusion.com, is now live and includes videos, team rider testimonials and detailed information explaining how STI Fusion is stronger, lighter and uses a cleaner production method than traditional vulcanized shoes.
Through different video testimonials on the site, etnies’ Sean Malto, Emerica’s Jerry Hsu and éS’ Kellen James and Rodrigo Teixeira, talk about how skating in shoes with STI Fusion is better than typical vulcanized construction because of its improved durability and flexibility in addition to being lighter weight and more comfortable.
STI Fusion is a process that creates an unbreakable bond by fusing the shoe’s upper, midsole and outsole together, making shoes significantly more durable and preventing heel blowouts. Additionally, the production time in the STI Fusion process is reduced by 75 percent, resulting in less glue and less energy – making a tremendous impact toward a cleaner production method.
STI Fusion will hit stores this June in the etnies Sheckler 5, Emerica Hsu 2, and éS Square 2 shoes, which will be available at retailers around the world.
