SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA – Today, San Diego based surf company, Elephant Surf (elephantsurf.com), announced a sponsorship agreement with ASP World Tour surfer Josh Kerr. Elephant Surf will be the exclusive provider of lower body rash guard and compression wear to Kerr. In conjunction with this announcement, Elephant Surf is announcing the release of their first-of-a-kind lower body rashguard and compression short, The Trunks: Josh Kerr Pro Model.

 

Worn under boardshorts, The Trunks: Josh Kerr Pro Model, are a rashguard, employing protective 2mm neoprene panels on the prime areas for rash, the inner and rear thighs, as well as a compression short improving comfort and overall athletic performance.

 

Kerr, currently sitting in the top 12 of the 2011 ASP World Title Ranking, is excited to partner with Elephant Surf. Kerr noted, “I am so stoked to be a part of this innovation as it goes forward. I love the product and the company. Coming from the Snapper doing run-arounds at the point and traveling all over I hate having leg rash. These Trunks prevent that and I can also surf longer because the compression side of them keeps my legs fresh.”
