CARLSBAD, CA — January 27, 2015 — In the heart of Encinitas on the South Coast Highway 101, prAna will open a new flagship store this spring. prAna Encinitas will be the brand’s sixth store in the country and its first brick-and-mortar retail location in Southern California.

Founded and headquartered locally, just miles from the Encinitas retail location, prAna creates built to last apparel for free-spirited people to pursue their passions from the mountains to the beach.

“Our roots are in Southern California, so it only made sense to open a store in our own active and free-spirited backyard,” said Scott Kerslake, prAna CEO. “The proximity to our headquarters and the community itself made Encinitas an ideal spot to connect with our loyal customers and other like-minded locals.”
