Orange County, CA- July 17, 2015 – TAVIK, original lifestyle brand, today announces their Women’s Spring and Summer 2016 Swimwear Collections at Swim Week’s Hammock Show in Miami. Feminine with the TAVIK girl edge, the collection named, “A Private Affair,” embraces contrasting colors, oversized florals, bold stripes and features an expanded range of reversible, seamless, and mix and match options.

The TAVIK Women’s Spring and Summer 2016 Collections brings snapshots of 1970’s starlets on tropical vacations to life; illustrating a modern take on the celebrated era with unexpected colorways and striking silhouettes. The SS ’16 Swimwear Collection also draws inspiration from famed interior decorator from America’s Golden Age, Dorothy Draper, with visions of lush Merlot, Lavender Haze, Key Lime, Paradise Pink and Deep Cobalt colors that complement the chic yet edgy separates and one-piece styles. A Private Affair introduces new textures, including flattering ribbed fabrics and reversible print and solid styles to easily mix and match separates. Each print in the collection matches back to two or more solid colors, making it easy and fun to create your own style.

“I experienced the work of Dorothy Draper after touring an abandoned hotel last spring, and used this as my starting point for 2016,” Said Carly Osler, TAVIK Women’s Designer. “We’ve created a truly unique and stand out collection using retro prints and bold solids from a rich color palette that provides both basics and statement pieces for the confident and stylish TAVIK girl.”   

Osler adds, “Our swimwear and upcoming SS’16 Après Beach Apparel Collection are designed to be worn from beach to  street, and our latest swimwear pieces effortlessly pair with our cover-ups, dresses, and bottoms for a complete ensemble.”

The latest TAVIK Women’s Swimwear Collection also introduces a range of coverage options for select swimwear bottoms, ranging from minimal and cheeky to full coverage; created to offer another element of personal customization for TAVIK Swimwear.

All suits are designed and made in Southern California with original designs custom to the TAVIK brand. TAVIK Women’s SS ‘2016 Swimwear Collection will launch in select premium retailers starting in January 2016.
