L*Space Looks to Raise Profile in Hawaii
L*Space is looking to raise its profile in Hawaii and just launched an exclusive collection for the islands called “Aloha Paradise.”
The brand is looking to push people to retail accounts and will not sell the collection on L*Space’s own website. The suits can only be bought at retailers with stores in Hawaii.
“We wanted this to be a true exclusive to the Hawaiian Islands,” said Debby Martin, Director of Wholesale Sales and Retail Marketing. “It’s an opportunity as a brand to focus on the local Hawaiian consumer.”
L*Space will host an invite-only mixer next week with retailers and local influencers at SurfJack Hotel & Swim Club in Honolulu to kick off the collection.
The program includes window and POP displays for participating retailers.
The collection uses vintage florals and has a 1970s vibe. Included is a long sleeve swimsuit called The Mod, which is the first time L*Space’s has offered that style.
The Aloha Paradise collection has seven styles with 14 SKUs.
Participating retailers include Bikini Bird, Splash, Hi-Tech, Honolua, Hanalei Surf, Poipu Surf, Maui Clothing, Simmer Hawaii, Four Seasons, Turtle Bay, Splash, Cosmopolitan Sun Shop, Free People, Nordstrom, Mermaids Swimwear, and Society Bikini.
