Seaesta Surf Debuts Peanuts Collection
Seaesta Surf, an independently owned brand of kids swimwear based in San Diego, has debuted its new collaboration with Peanuts, featuring everyone’s favorite beagle, Snoopy.
Seaesta Surf, the brainchild of mom and marketing/stylist veteran Julia Wheeler, was developed in 2015 as an antidote to the overly cute corral of kids’ swimwear options on the market. With neutral palettes, artist-inspired graphics, and timeless fits, the style roots of authentic surf culture that transcend generations are the status quo. Seaesta Surf features a retro slim design, durable and long-lasting recycled and organic fabrics, Seaesta Surf boardshorts are gender-neutral and are made from 52% organic cotton and 48% recycled polyester, comprising up to an average of three plastic water bottles.
For this collaboration, Seaesta Surf has released three limited-edition children’s colorways designed to pay homage to vintage skateboarding eras of the 70s and 80s. This collaboration with Peanuts features checkerboard boardshort styles in earth tone colors, and artwork highlighting the legendary Snoopy doing skateboarding tricks, which illustrates the Seaesta Surf mantra of #surfeatnap.
“Using artwork from the Peanuts ‘vintage’ catalog, the collection will be surf, skate, and vintage-inspired – epitomizing everything Seaesta Surf stands for. We’re beyond excited to collaborate with such an iconic brand using beloved characters,” said Wheeler.
The line ranges from $52.50 – $59.50 and is available at SeaestaSurf.com.
