OTIS Eyewear and OUTERKNOWN have just released their second eyewear collaboration together. Inspired by the vivid duality seen wherever water and earth meet, the new OTIS x OUTERKNOWN Collection is made using certified biodegradable Eco-Acetate and endlessly recyclable mineral glass lenses. A way to look beyond what you know and see the world at its most interesting. 

“We love working with OUTERKNOWN as we both share a goal to close the loop with sustainable style you can be proud to wear,” says OTIS Product & Brand Manager, Sally Kerr. “This time we looked at our stunning home state for inspiration of colour and contrast. The red dirt of the Kimberley colliding with the turquoise of the Indian Ocean, rocky inland outcrops cut by snaking rivers and desert sands skirted by crystal salt lakes. To weave that in with materials that also pay further respect to that ecosystem was extra satisfying.” 

Available in limited quantities, the OTIS designs which are part of the capsule include the cat eye Jazmine, classic Summer of 67 and Summer of 67 X, larger-sized Divide X, plus the ever-popular Omar. Every style in the collection comes with signature accents to mark the special nature of the release, a protective carry case, plastic-free packaging and a recycled cloth wrap to keep your glasses (and the planet) that little bit cleaner.
