Z SUPPLY Sponsors Make-A-Wish Foundation Event
Z SUPPLY Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Z SUPPLY clothing brand, will be supporting Make-A-Wish Orange County and Inland Empire 3rd annual “Pickleball for Wishes” tournament as an ACE Sponsor.
Make-A-Wish Orange County and the Inland Empire, a local chapter of the nationally recognized organization that grants wishes for children with critical illnesses, will hit the court for its third annual Pickleball for Wishes tournament from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. July 29 at the beautiful Tennis and Pickleball Club in Newport Beach. As an ACE Sponsor, Z SUPPLY Foundation is donating $10,000 to host a free clinic led by the Director of Pickleball at the Tennis and Pickleball Club at Newport Beach, Coach Abbi Ghasemi. The clinic is available for players who purchased tickets to “Pickleball for Wishes” new to the sport or those who would like to improve their skills. It will be held prior to the tournament starting. Players and spectators will also have the opportunity to hear from 7-year-old wish kid, Nicolina, who had to be separated from her siblings while she battled leukemia and had her wish to go to Hawaii granted earlier this year.
“We are honored to be supporting Make-A-Wish Orange County and Inland Empire’s for this year’s ‘Pickleball for Wishes’ tournament, “said Mandy Fry, President of Z SUPPLY. “Making wishes come true for children that are battling illness is a top priority for the Z SUPPLY Foundation and also for our Z SUPPLY team members who will be participating on July 29th for this wonderful cause.”
Individual team entry fees are $400 for a team of two players. Entries include food, beverage and raffle tickets. Participants can visit the event page for more information and to register. Spectator tickets are also available for $50 and include food, beverage, raffle tickets, and an opportunity to cheer on the tourney participants. Funds raised go toward granting wishes for the 525 wish children in Orange County, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
This year’s tournament is being presented by CAIN Group. Companies and community members will be participating in a fun day of meaningful wellness and social responsibility activity while coming together to support local children fighting for their health.
