Tactics Expands Global Footprint with a Launch in Japan
Tactics, a leading Oregon-based retailer specializing in skateboarding and snowboarding gear, announces its exciting entry into the Japanese market. The company plans to open its first brick-and-mortar store at the Sapporo Factory, a renowned shopping destination in the heart of Sapporo. The store is slated to open on November 1, 2024, while the ecommerce site will launch a month earlier in October 2024.
A Shared Passion for the Outdoors Makes Sapporo a Perfect Fit: It’s fitting that Sapporo and Portland are Sister Cities as they are both nestled in the foothills of mountains. This shared connection to the outdoors played a significant role in Tactics’ decision to select Sapporo for its initial foray into the Japanese market.

Tactics will also introduce its private label brand, Tactics Original Goods, to the Japanese market for the first time.
