Vissla Unveils Natural Seas Wetsuit Collection

This wetsuit marks a significant milestone in Vissla’s mission to redefine eco-friendly surf gear by being 100% neoprene-free.
Crafted exclusively from 100% Ocena™ natural rubber, the Natural Seas Wetsuit introduces a ‘first-of-its-kind’ bio-based foam that not only eliminates traditional neoprene but also delivers unparalleled warmth, lightness, and stretch. Developed as the lightest weight and stretchiest neoprene-free material available, Ocena™ natural rubber by Sheico sets a new standard in performance while minimizing environmental impact.

Vissla originally released their neoprene-free wetsuit collection, The Eco Seas Wetsuits, back in 2016. The new, refined Natural Seas range of natural rubber wetsuits is the first of its kind to use Ocena™ FSC-approved rubber, produced by Sheico.
The launch of the Natural Seas Wetsuit underscores Vissla’s ongoing efforts to prioritize sustainability and push the boundaries of material science.
The Natural Seas Wetsuit is currently offered in both the 2/2 LS Spring Suit ($189.95) and a 1mm LS Wetsuit Jacket ($99.95). The brand will soon be launching a broader collection including a 3/2 and 4/3 Full Suit ($349.95 – $365.95) in Fall 2024.
