Opus Footwear Launches New Signature Skate Shoe Colorway
Opus Footwear, the California-based independent footwear brand founded and run by skateboarders for skateboarders, is proud to announce team rider Swampy’s signature colorway of its best-selling Honey Slip skate shoe is now available at select skateshops nationwide.

“Swampy has been rolling with Opus since day one and he truly has a style all his own,” says Opus Footwear Co-Founder, Mirko Mangum. “He’s been skating our Honey Slip model for a solid year now. When developing his signature colorway, we used our slip-on as the base and added design tweaks inspired by the Bog Father himself. We’re calling it the ‘Swampy Slip’ and the response has been excellent.”
The aptly named Swampy Slip features a stylish slip-on silhouette with elastic tongue gussets for a snug fit, durable black suede upper with seamless toe vamp, lightly padded collar for support and comfort, vulcanized construction, custom herringbone tread for enhanced grip and board feel, and removeable insoles with extra cushioning to absorb impact. Finishing touches include swamp green color pops and a gator tearing through the heel and insole inspired by Swampy’s pro model from Heroin Skateboards.
As Swampy puts it, “My favorite shoes. They look good. They feel good. They skate good right out da box.”
