Carrie Piccolini Promoted to VP of Marketing for O’Neill Men’s and Women’s
The La Jolla Group has promoted well-known industry executive Carrie Piccolini to vice president of marketing for O’Neill, where she will oversee men’s and women’s marketing across all channels.
Previously, Piccolini served as marketing director of O’Neill Women’s.
As part of her new role, Carrie will lead marketing initiatives across all O’Neill channels, including wholesale, retail, e-commerce, and marketplace. She will also collaborate with O’Neill’s internal centers of excellence, including “Create,” led by Creative Director Deke Angel, to ensure that all marketing needs are met and brand positioning is consistently aligned across men’s and women’s categories.
“Carrie’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping the marketing strategy for O’Neill Women’s,” Daniel Neukomm, CEO of La Jolla Group, said in a statement. “In this new role, we are confident that she will deliver exceptional results across both men’s and women’s marketing. Her promotion is a key step as we continue to position O’Neill as a leading surf brand with a strong commitment to both innovative products and industry-leading marketing.”
Neukomm said the promotion comes at a pivotal time for La Jolla Group and O’Neill because the brand is dedicated to its wholesale partners, with a priority focus on the surf specialty channel. O’Neill VP of Sales Paul Harvey will continue to lead the sales function.
Piccolini brings over a decade of experience in marketing, retail and visual merchandising to her new role. Neukomm said she has proven her ability to strategically position brands, drive creative campaigns, and cultivate relationships that bolster brand recognition and customer loyalty.
“It’s an incredible honor to lead marketing efforts for such an iconic surf brand,” Piccolini said in a statement. “I’m excited to help continue O’Neill’s legacy by supporting our wholesale and specialty retail partners, launching innovative campaigns, and working cross-functionally with our newly created ‘centers of excellence.’ I’m looking forward to building upon our strong foundation and leading the brand through its next chapter.”
She will report to Jeremy Hale, chief commercial officer of the La Jolla Group.
