USA Retail Account Executive

Evolve Skateboards is the global leader in high-end electric skateboards.  We distribute to over 50 countries globally, and support an omni channel approach to our business, supporting online, and retail platforms in many of these regions.  We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our professional team at our USA HQ, to work closely with the Global Retail Manager to manage forecasting, budget targets and growth strategies for the US and Canada.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing the Retail Platform for North America and assist our USA HQ Instore retail operations.

As an ideal candidate you will have experience with B2B sales (preferably within the Snow/Skate/Surf industry). With your extensive experience in sales, you will have the ability to manage and grow retail partner relationships in this fluid, exciting and growing industry.  You will be motivated and have effective time management skills and be able to utilize your previous experience to drive opportunities in the region yet to be solidified for our brand.

Objectives of the Role:

  • To ensure that Evolve Skateboards is represented in the retail market in-line with our Brand Message, Ethos and Values
  • Manage current Retail Partnerships through effective communication and support
  • Identify new retail opportunities (in line with our company ethos),  and manage an effective onboarding process to convert those opportunities into solid retail partnerships
  • Analyse our retail partners’ needs, and work closely with them to ensure Evolve Skateboards is a preferred supplier within their businesses
  • Work closely with our internal departments to ensure Evolve Skateboards offers a customer centric, “A” grade service to our Retail Partners.
  • Offer insight and ideas to assist in the future growth for the US and Canada Retail Markets
  • Grow current territory sales in line with set revenue budgets and KPIs.
  • Assist our US office with customer service and sales support

Daily / Monthly Responsibilities:

Retailer Ordering / General Communication 

  • Utilizing the B2B / B2C sales platform (Shopify) to create / amend retailer orders and invoices.
  • Managing retailer discounts based on current individually negotiated pricing structures.
  • Liaising with retailers on “Out of Stocks” (OOS). New product launches.
  • Communicating with retailers on order and dispatch shipment times.

Staff Training / Promo Activations/ Events

  • Organizing and managing retail staff training events. (in conjunction with Global Retail Manager).
  • Assisting to action retail specific promotions in store
  • Regularly checking online retail sites to ensure company retailer guidelines are being adhered to
  • Monitoring retailer activity with promotions and sales
  • Represent Evolve Skateboards on occasion, at local, state and national events

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales
  • Prior experience in similar role within the Skate/Surf/Snow industry (preferred but not required)
  • Highly effective in B2B communication
  • An understanding of the retail industry in North America and the ability to analyse retail businesses
  • Motivated, with the ability to work fluidly with a professional team, and as an individual
  • Proven experience in effective time management skills a necessity
  • Great personal presentation.
