Pura Vida announced today that they have hired John Gothard to lead the pack as VP of Sales. John brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the industry and has served in brand management for such companies as Sanuk, Spy, Quiksilver, and Arnette. His 30+ years of expertise makes him the ideal candidate to creating an impactful in-store presence.

“I’ve been a huge fan of Pura Vida for quite some time,” said Gothard. “What Griff and Paul have established here is amazing. We are stepping up our game and our retail partners will be the beneficiary.”

Founded by Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman, Pura Vida Bracelets are sold in over 2,000 accounts and support 150 local Costa Rican artisans. They are one of the fastest growing companies in the accessories/lifestyle space with 900,000 (and growing) devout Instagram followers.

"We feel like the experience and expertise that John will bring to Pura Vida is going to take us to the next level,” said Paul. “We are so excited to see this new phase unfold.”
