XTRATUF Partners with Professional Big Wave Surfer and Adventurer Andrew Cotton
XTRATUF, inspired by the rugged and always-evolving needs of the Alaskan fishing community, expands its Pro Team of athletes with the addition of Andrew Cotton. Professional big wave surfer and adventurer, Cotton travels the globe surfing some of the biggest and heaviest waves on the planet, and is always seeking the next on-water adventure.
“There is magic in traveling the globe, looking for the next big wave,” said Cotton. “I like to keep the adventure fun while progressing my performance in some of the world’s toughest surfing locations. XTRATUF is a brand I have always admired for its connection to the water and partnerships with like-minded athletes, places and brands who thrive in some of the toughest conditions.”
Cotton is one of the world’s most respected big wave surfers basing himself in Nazare, Portugal and West Ireland for much of the big wave season. He also travels the globe surfing some of the biggest and heaviest waves on the planet such as Peahi in Hawaii, Mavericks in California and The Right in West Australia.

As part of the Pro Team, XTRATUF will serve as Cotton’s exclusive footwear partner, and the brand will follow his training and endeavors through content shared across all media platforms and in brand photography.
