  Atwater Ducks jersey

A stream of Ducks players are stopping by Atwater offices lately to pick up clothes.

Atwater, an up-and-coming surf brand in Newport Beach, made the Ducks connection through a friend of Atwater design director Scott Madison. To say thanks, the Ducks players made Atwater its own jersey and the players sign it when they come in.

To those reading who don’t know how this works, companies provide free clothes to prominent people such as athletes, musicians, art and actors, which gives the brands exposure.

Here’s a list of the players who are wearing Atwater, from Mike Quilliam of Atwater:

“We have hooked up Ryan Getzlaf #15, George Parros #16, Corey Perry #10 who are currently still with the Ducks. Shane O’Brien, Joffrey Lupul and Dustin Penner are also players that we have hooked up but unfortunately have been traded. Dustin Penner was in here about 2 weeks ago. The day before he left to fly to Edmonton to start practice with his new team, the Oilers. I think the word is spreading around the locker room because more and more Ducks keep showing up. They are all super cool and very appreciative of all the clothes and support we give them.”
