Fox appoints Bussiere CFO

(Irvine, CA) July 11, 2011: Fox announces that Bill Bussiere has joined the company as CFO. Fox veteran Gary Mesdjian will transition toward retirement after 16 years of dedication, as Bussiere steps into the role of Chief Financial Officer.




 

The addition of Bussiere is a key part of Fox transforming its infrastructure, as it positions itself to continue to grow to the next level globally.

 

“Bill’s is an experienced industry executive who is exactly what we were looking for to help lead Fox’s growth, and manage this critical responsibility,” said Fox CEO Pete Fox. “His enthusiasm is very motivating. I am eager to begin working with him on developing the strategic and financial initiatives that will shape Fox’s future. This is the beginning of the next phase of Fox’s evolution.”

 

Bill was most recently President & CFO of La Jolla Group, and his earlier experience includes: 11 years as CFO of Quiksilver Americas, and CFO of Patagonia.

The move also reunites Bill and Fox Board of Directors member Nick Adcock, who worked closely together when Bill was CFO of Quiksilver Americas and Nick was Global President, DC Shoes.
