Banzai Pipeline, Oahu, Hawaii (January 30th, 2014): After four straight “Lei Days” mother nature is finally cooperating and the 2014 Volcom Pipe Pro is underway! Competition begins with heat 1 of the round of 112 at 8:00am HST and will be broadcasted live at VolcomPipePro.com/Live.

The contest will start out as usual with round 1, but before the round of 96 there will be a special ‘Volcom Last Chance Qualifier’ heat. The ‘VLCQ” will be a 35 minute, 6 man heat in which local riders Bruce Irons, Jamie O’Brien, Kawai Lindo, JD Irons, Kaimana Henry, and Gavin Beschen will all be battling it out for the last wildcard spot into the contest.
