Vans proudly celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Vans Pool Party, the influential deep bowl competition that forever changed the face of modern vertical skateboarding. With three divisions establishing today’s elite top Pros, Masters and undisputed Legends of bowl riding, the Vans Pool Party is unique in all of skateboarding for bringing together the biggest names in deep bowl skateboarding to battle it out in the legendary Vans Combi bowl at the Vans Skatepark in Orange, California.

Commemorating ten years of exhilarating battle, the 10th Anniversary Vans Pool Party honors seasoned Pool Party champions Bucky Lasek, Rune Glifberg, Pedro Barros, Omar Hassan and rookie champ Tristan Rennie (who was aged 6 years old for the inaugural Pool Party in 2005, by the way) as they defend their status against their peers and a new generation of Combi pool drain babies, like Corey Juneau, Tom Schaar and more. The unstoppable Legends division continues to promise another unparalleled adrenaline rush with a fierce exhibition of timeless talent led by true pioneers of skateboarding such as 8-time Legends champion, Chris Miller plus Steve Caballero, Mike McGill and more!

The Vans Pool Party is proudly a part of the Red Bull Signature Series, a collection of the most progressive action sport events in the world. The 10th Anniversary of the Vans Pool Party event will air later this summer on Sunday, August 2nd at 3:30 PM ET/12:30 PM PT on NBC as part of the Red Bull Signature Series.

The Vans Pool Party is made possible with the support FIAT and truth®, one of the nation’s largest youth smoking prevention campaigns. The event will feature FIAT’s interactive display using Kinect technology to check out the all-new 2016 Fiat 500X cross-over and see in-person the special Fiat 500L Vans design concept vehicle that debuted in Huntington Beach last summer.
