Body Glove unveils new swim line for Miami Swim Show

Body Glove unveils new swim

Press release:

For Immediate Release: Redondo Beach, Calif. (July 16, 2015) This season, Body Glove’s designers took a new twist on bold designs and paid homage to the brand’s deep heritage in swim fashion.

Inspired by the beauty of island life in the Bahamas where this season’s photo shoot took place, the 2015-16 collection features punchy colors and a new twist on neoprene-like fabric, which is what  put Body Glove on the map as the top women’s surf-lifestyle swimwear brand back in the 1980s.

With a series of ultra graphic bodies and new colorful prints that can mix and-match with Body Glove’s Smoothies solids, this year’s line is slated to spearhead beach fashion trends both in stores and online.

For the photo shoot, Body Glove set out in search of turquoise water and white sands in the Exuma Islands. Of all the places to visit on Earth, the picture-perfect sandbar hidden in the center of the Caribbean Sea allowed for some incredible shots with model Juliana Herz (@juliherzz). The team swam with friendly pigs, and colorful fish as they shot the collection along some of the most magestic coves in the world.

Highlights for this year include the neoprene-like crop silhouettes, the Reminiscence Sleeveless one-piece suit in the new quick-dry lightweight Smush Smush (TM) fabric, the Raglan cap Standup suit, and new Smoothies styles like the Stellar off-the-shoulder crop top, Sydney V-Wire bandeau, and Kahula V-Wire Bandeau.

Along with fashion forward mix and match bottoms, there are also new cuts like the Nuevo Contempo and Fly High bottoms featuring extra high-rise fit with sexy side cut outs as well new styles for surfing, standup paddling and beach volleyball. Lastly, the new line has a complete set of brand new coverups, dresses and shorts to take you anywhere from the sand to the water, through the waves and always in style.

The line debuts this week at Miami Swim Show Body Glove booth: 1151/1258, and will be available to consumers at better swim boutiques and surf shops around the country starting this October and rolling out through the holiday season.
